Women On Missions Leader: Shirley White Women On Mission meet the second Wednesday of each month at 10:00 am until about 11:00 am. We have a study from the Mosaic magazine, spend time praying for the missionaries highlighted for the month and pray for prayer requests from our members. Then we go out for lunch and enjoy the fellowship.
During the month of December our dates to meet will be changed to the first Wednesday because of the International Missions Week of Prayer. We will focus our prayers on the missionaries highlighted in that brochure.
Our church is supporting the Operation Christmas Shoebox collection again this year. This is the third year we have enjoyed shopping and filling shoeboxes for the children. The shoeboxes are a way to bring God’s love to children who may never hear about Jesus any other way.
Then in December we will be focusing on the International Missions Offering. Our church also supports the Missouri Missions Offering and the North American Missions Offering.
Praying for the missionaries working all over the world is a very important support for their work. We pray that all culture groups may be reached with the Good News of Jesus Christ. And that those working in the mission fields will be safe and know than Christians are holding them up in prayer.
